Alexandre is a senior external consultant in Tax Analysis at BMJ. He was a tax auditor at the Federal Revenue of Brazil (1994-2014) where he participated in the updating and consolidation of federal tax legislation. In addition, he held the positions of Technical Advisor to the Federal Revenue Taxation and Litigation Secretariat (2009-2014) and Technical Advisor to the Accounting Pronouncements Committee (CPC) (2008-2009). He is specialized in tax auditing, taxation of legal entities (IRPJ, CSLL, IPI, IOF, PIS / Pasep and COFINS) and taxes on import and export operations, besides being a professor of General Accounting, Costs and Bank Accounting. He was honored in 1997 with the Hélio Beltrão Innovation Award in the Federal Public Service by the Federal Accounting Council for relevant services provided for the development of accounting science in Brazil and five times elected the best public website manager by Ibest. Alexandre holds a BA in Accounting from the University of Brasília (UnB), with a specialization in finance.
