Gustavo Cunha Abreu

Gustavo is a Government Relations consultant currently serving on BMJ’s Federal team, following a year and a half with the firm’s Sustainability Coordination. His professional background includes internships at the Central Authority of the Ministry of Justice and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC Brazil). In the field of government relations, Gustavo has worked as a consultant for a firm specializing in stakeholder engagement with the National Congress, focusing on key policy areas such as sustainability, public security, and tax reform. He holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Brasília (UnB), where he conducted research in environmental policy, the legislative process, migration, and the right to the city. His academic work includes a published article in the International Council for Advanced Studies in Law (CAED-Jus).
