Andressa Mont’Alvão Canela has been working in the field of Government Relations for over ten years. At BMJ, she oversees the Coordinations of Consumer Goods and Health, as well as States and Municipalities. Prior to joining BMJ, she worked at Burson Cohn & Wolfe (BCW) as a Supervisor and Senior Account Executive. At Patri Public Policies, she worked as a Legislative Analyst, providing support to clients in the telecommunications, infrastructure, and technology sectors. At the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), she held the position of Industrial Development Analyst in the International Relations Unit, focusing on South-South Cooperation projects. She has also interned at the Itamaraty, the Central Bank, the Presidency of the Republic (Human Rights Secretariat), and at CNI. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations, an MBA in Business Management, and has specializations in Legislative Process, Government Relations, Parliamentary Law, Compliance, Strategic Negotiation, and Conflict Management.
