Laís is a Government Relations Consultant and a member of the State and Municipalities team at BMJ Consultores Associados, based in Belém. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Political Science from the Postgraduate Program in Political Science at the Federal University of Pará (PPGCP/UFPA). She holds a Law degree from the State University Center of Pará (CESUPA). She completed an internship at the Regional Electoral Court of Pará. She volunteered at the CESUPA Human Rights Clinic, where she conducted research and work on international law and human rights. She received a scholarship from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) 2021/2023. She is currently a volunteer at Transparência Eleitoral Brasil, where she is the deputy coordinator of the Electoral Observation Mission project. She is interested in gender studies, elections, sustainability, the environment, and COP.
