The Barral M Jorge & Associates expertise has been strengthened this month by the inclusion of a former member of a top level government agency.
Gabriel Merheb Petrus, new consultant at the Government Relations team, served as Special Advisor to the Brazilian Chief of Staff, Mrs. Gleisi Hoffmann, between July 2011 and February 2013. During this period, he acquired experience in the elaboration and monitoring of public policies and projects prioritized by the federal government as well as a wide range of contacts within the governmental bodies.
Formerly, he was an advisor to the Secretariat for Legal Affairs of the Executive Office, where he worked on the analyses and editing of bills proposed to the President.
Gabriel Petrus holds an MA degree in International Relations from the University of Brasília (UnB) and is currently undertaking an MBA Program in Planning, Budget and Public Administration at the Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV – Brasília).
The Government Relations division of Barral M Jorge is specialized in the evaluation of sectoral impacts of public policies and the elaboration of strategic solutions to regulatory affairs.
