Jales is a Government Relations Consultant in the BMJ Digital division, responsible for monitoring, analysis, and strategic intelligence and sectoral risk on the internet. Professionally, he interned with the Public Affairs team at BCW Brazil and in the Coordination of Cooperation and International Relations at the Federal Public Defender’s Office. He integrates this knowledge with Data Science, holding certifications in the field from IBM and Google. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Brasília (UnB) and is currently pursuing a degree in Data Science at the Estácio de Sá University Centre. He held a scholarship from 2021 to 2022 in the Tutorial Education Programme, affiliated with the Ministry of Education, where he trained in analysis and research techniques in the applied social sciences. Currently, Jales is a Master’s candidate in International Relations at the University of Brasília (UnB), focusing on global and polycentric governance.
