Gilvan has been an external consultant in the areas of International Law and International Trade at BMJ since 2001. He was a specialist in foreign trade projects at the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) from 2008 to 2010, during which time he worked with the Department of Trade Defense (DECOM/SECEX) of the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade. He is a professor in the area of ​​foreign trade, with numerous works published in Brazil and abroad. He holds a Master’s degree in International Law, also from USP, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC).
