Laís is a Government Relations Consultant and a member of the States and Municipalities team at BMJ, based in Belém. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in political science from the Postgraduate Program at the Universidade Federal do Pará. She completed her undergraduate studies in Law at Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará (CESUPA). Previously, she worked as an intern at the Regional Electoral Court of Pará and volunteered at the CESUPA Human Rights Clinic, conducting research in international law and human rights. Additionally, Laís received a master’s scholarship from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) for the period of 2021-2023. She also volunteers at Transparência Eleitoral Brasil and serves as the deputy coordinator of the Mission of Electoral Observation. Laís has a keen interest in gender studies, elections, sustainability, the environment, and COP.
