Jefferson Farinha de Bastos is a government relations consultant for the energy team at BMJ. He was also part of the organization’s Infrastructure team, which he has been with since 2022. He holds a Bachelor’s in International Relations from the University of Brasília (UnB). At the UnB Institute of International Relations, he was a member of the International Security Studies and Research Group (GEPSI), participating in the Latin America Working Group. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as a Project Manager at Domani, a Foreign Trade Consultancy, where he managed trade projects involving countries from the Americas, the Middle East, and Asia. In 2023, Jefferson co-authored the article “Perspectives on the Use of Advanced Fuels in Brazil” with Anna Marszolek.
