International Trade Manager

Leandro Barcelos

Leandro Barcelos is the manager of the International Trade team at BMJ. Professionally, he worked as International Project Manager and Coordinator of Intergovernmental Relations at the Secretariat for Economic Development and at the International Advisory Office of the Governor of the Federal District. At the national level, he worked on the implementation of international cooperation projects with the European Union and MERCOSUR at the Brazilian Agency for Industrial Development (ABDI). Between 2015-2020, he was part of the Trade Policy team of the International Affairs area of ​​the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), where he was Executive Secretary of the Coalition for Trade Facilitation and Barriers (CFB), coordinated market access and trade facilitation agreements, and supported the construction of the International Industry Agenda. Internationally, he has worked on several international sectoral missions, lectured at World Trade Organization training sessions in Latin America and was part of the Foreign Trade Training Program at the Brazilian Mission to the WTO in Geneva in 2017. Leandro is an internationalist with MBAs in Planning and Management and Business and in Foreign Trade and International Negotiations from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).
