Wesley Costa is a member of the BMJ Government Relations team. He began his professional career in the Brazilian Army as a public relations assistant. He later worked as a sales manager at the pharmaceutical laboratory EMS for seven years. After this experience in the private sector, he entered the public service. He worked at the Belo Horizonte City Council and also at the Minas Gerais Government in the State General Secretariat. He also worked at the Minas Gerais Housing Company (COHAB) and the Minas Gerais Energy Company (CEMIG). Wesley holds a degree in Social Communication with a specialization in Public Relations from the UNI-BH University Center, an MBA in Strategic Management in Marketing, an MBA in Positive Psychology and Human Development, and an MBA in Market Intelligence; all from the UNA University Center.
