Wesley Costa is part of the BMJ Government Relations team. He began his professional career in the Brazilian army, as public relations assistants. Subsequently, he was sales manager at the pharmaceutical laboratory EMS for seven years. After this experience in the private sector, he entered the public service. He worked at the Municipality of Belo Horizonte and also at the Government of Minas Gerais at the General Secretariat of the State. He also worked at the Minas Gerais Housing Company (COHAB), and at the Minas Gerais Energy Company (CEMIG). Wesley has a degree in Social Communication with a degree in Public Relations from Centro Universitário UNI-BH, an MBA in Strategic Management in Marketing, an MBA in Positive Psychology and Human Development, and an MBA in Market Intelligence; all by Centro Universitário UNA.
